In Bangladesh, this production location is one of the four manufacturers, which possesses a SA8000 certification since 2012. The SA8000 is an international auditable certification standard, which monitors whether companies apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace.

Recently, LC Packaging started the construction of a second FIBC production location in Bangladesh. The production location will be approximately 10.000 m2. Consequently, the current capacity of LC Packaging’s FIBC will double. The new production facility will produce among others food-safe as well as pharma-clean packaging for the pharma, food and chemical industry.

LC Packaging is a family owned producer and distributor of packaging based in the Netherlands, with plants for FIBCs and cardboard in Europe, Africa and Asia. The turnover was 170 million euros in 2016 and has approximately 1,000 employees.
