With its new 42X, a new removable, UV acrylic-based adhesive, the European specialist in self-adhesive technology, offers a valuable addition to printers and label users for more freedom in their choices of self-adhesive materials.
The new 42X makes even non-standard label materials easily removable without any residue, giving users maximum flexibility. It ensures excellent adhesion without any undesired “ghosting†effects i.e. the non-tacky, but milky and distinctive adhesive film that can be left behind by other removable adhesives on some surfaces like glass. No residue is visible even with condensation. At the same time, the 42X offers excellent resistance against water, detergent, and oil, and exhibits no increased adhesion over time.
Also, thanks to reduce the coatings' quantities needs from 7,500 square metres (usual requirements for coatings) to 1,000 square metres, thus it allows customers to produce samples or quickly test under practical conditions if a specific combination of adhesive and label material is suitable for the desired application.
