Growth of the fresh meat packaging market

According to Transparency Market Research, the fresh meat packaging market is expected to grow at a rate of 4.3% per year, in volume, until 2028 and then exceed 1.2 billion tons.

Growing consumer concerns about styrofoam trays covered with plastic film are pushing market players to develop alternative solutions. Efforts are particularly focused on the use of bioplastics and molded fiber materials.
