Economical plastic food containers

Holmen Iggesund is launching Inverform PET 30, the 30 g/m² version of its food trays made from PET-coated cardboard for ready meals that are more easily recyclable and with the same level of quality and functionality.

Made from virgin wood fiber of known and traceable origin, they reduce the use of plastic by 25% compared to the 40 g/m² model. They are also compatible with Inverform cardboard boxes from Holmen Iggesund. Thanks to this lower plastic content, the manufacturer can now offer its customers some of its cardboard/PET combinations in a proportion of 90% fiber and 10% plastic. Three variants are available for the PET layer (black, white or transparent) which offers high thermal resistance, very good sealing and excellent protection against oxygen and grease. For better surface quality, the back of the PET layer has a glossy finish.
