A flat bottle made of R-PET for e-commerce

E-commerce is starting to influence packaging design, like the online florist Bloom & Wild and Garçon Wines, the company that proposes a brand-new wine packaging design: a 100% recycled PET (from post-consumer) bottle.
Manufacturing with RPC M & H Plastics in the UK, "this 750ml bottle is 87% lighter than traditional wine bottles, and takes up 40% spatially smaller". Lighter than glass, but tough enough to withstand the postal system. Offered in a natural olive green or light pink color, it is available in other colors upon request.
The company also includes a special “oxygen scavenger” featuring both active scavenging and passive barrier technology to give its bottles a much longer shelf life than other wine packaging solutions.
