Changes in the Packaging Valley Germany board

Bernd Hansen, one of the co-founders of the cluster and has been Chairman of the Board of Packaging Valley Germany since the end of 2009, is renouncing his seat on the board and the chairmanship.

Unanimously, after Mr Hansen’s proposal, Sabine Gauger has been elected as his successor. She has been active as spokeswoman of the marketing working group since its foundation in 2007, as well as an assessor and later as deputy chairwoman. Gauger was responsible for marketing at the Optima Packaging Groups for 15 years, and is now a staff member of the management. Ralf Bouffleur, General Representative of the Rommelag Group, was also was also unanimously appointed to the Management Board at the Management Board meeting in early December after Bernd Hansen’s departure.
