Nemera, a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of drug delivery device solutions, has inaugurated a new production hall at its state-of-the-art facility in Szczecin, Poland. This expansion marks a major milestone in Nemera’s long-term growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to addressing global health challenges such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The newly inaugurated Hall 2 brings Nemera’s total industrial space in Szczecin to 9,115 m², significantly increasing its capacity to produce drug delivery devices for GLP-1 and insulin therapies. Construction is also underway on a third hall, scheduled for completion in autumn 2025, with additional space reserved for future developments. « This expansion is a testament to our commitment to putting patients first. By increasing our capacity and capabilities, we are better positioned to support our customers and contribute to the fight against obesity and diabetes, » said Marc Hämel, CEO of Nemera.

The facility is equipped with advanced injection molding and assembly machines. Built with eco-friendly solutions, the site has earned international BREEAM certification for its environmental performance and sustainability standards. « The new project marks a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality drug delivery device solutions while putting patients first. With this expansion, Nemera Szczecin is significantly increasing its recruitment efforts, opening new positions in various departments, » said Remigiusz Podcaba, Director of Nemera Szczecin.

Nemera Szczecin currently employs 350 people, and this number is expected to grow rapidly, with approximately 300 new jobs anticipated by 2027. Recruitment will focus on specialists in production, injection molding, engineering, automation, and support roles. « We are actively looking for highly qualified professionals from across Poland to join our growing team. We’re seeking people who are motivated by our purpose and energized by a dynamic growth environment. We offer full support for those relocating to Szczecin, » said Paulina Pilawska, HR Manager.
