SnapSlide improves access to medication

Two pharmacies in Pennsylvania are among the first to offer SnapSlide^® prescription vials, featuring a patented sliding closure that eliminates the traditional “push-and-turn” motion.

The vial can be opened, used and reclosed with one hand, while maintaining regulatory child-resistant safety and making treatments easier to access for seniors, people with arthritis and patients with limited dexterity. Developed by SnapSlide, this award-winning solution, recognized for its design, ergonomics and sustainable approach, aims to support patient independence and adherence. In focus groups, nearly 90% of consumers preferred it to conventional closures.
