Bobst Group accelerates its digital portfolio

News 🇬🇧

posted Sunday 31 January 2021

Bobst Group, supplier of substrate processing, printing and converting equipment, and SEI Laser, an Italian company which designs and manufactures innovative laser systems will collaborate to accelerate the development and commercialization of digital laser cutting solutions for the labels, packaging, folding carton and corrugated board industries.

Moreover, after having acquired 50,1% of Radex in June 2017 to develop Mouvent AG, Bobst is now announcing the acquisition of the remaining 49,9% to reinforce the development of its printing portfolio. This acquisition will accelerate its digital investments and its leadership in printing and converting. “The Bobst digital portfolio is opening new horizons for label converters, combining high quality printing, high productivity and the right economics. It is answering the growing demand for short runs, faster time-to-market, versioning and seasonal products,” declares the group.
