First carbon tube captured for beauty

Developed with Carbon Upcycling, this pioneering product launched by Element Beauty and Caliray with a first application on the “So Blown” primer tube, has a body made of captured carbon and is equipped with a recycled plastic cap.

It reduces CO₂ emissions, improves the resistance of materials and facilitates recycling. At the same time, Element Materials Sciences unveiled E-PHA, a new compostable biopolymer for injection molding, blow molding and thermoforming, replacing ABS, PE and PP for cosmetic packaging. E-PHA offers similar properties to ABS, making it ideal for luxury packaging with high gloss finishes. It is also hot fillable and has higher impact resistance than PLA.
