Multivac becomes a new partner o Italianpack

The packaging machine supplier Multivac has signed a cooperation agreement with the growing tray sealing machine manufacturer Italianpack.

With 85 subsidiaries and market coverage in 165 countries, Multivac is strategically expanding its portfolio in the field of traysealers: the company is acquiring an option to purchase 25.1% of the shares in Italianpack for a period of three years.

We are looking forward to the upcoming cooperation in the traysealer business, which will enable us to use our strengths to the best advantage of our customers,” said Christian Traumann, Managing Director of Multivac, and Tomaso Petrini, Managing Partner of Italianpack.

The partnership will lead to the distribution of the Italian company’s smaller traysealers via the worldwide distribution and service network of its new partner. Italianpack has 70 employees on its team and achieved a turnover of €13.7 million in 2020.
