Si la capsule en aluminium conserve encore le leadership, de plus en plus d\u2019acteurs s\u2019orientent vers les biomat\u00e9riaux pour proposer une alternative plus verte.<\/p>\n<p>Le caf\u00e9 est la seconde boisson la plus consomm\u00e9e apr\u00e8s l\u2019eau en France, et le march\u00e9 des capsules ne cesse de cro\u00eetre. Devant ces perspectives r\u00e9jouissantes, de nombreux acteurs se lancent sur ce march\u00e9, dont l\u2019un des enjeux repose sur la capsule elle-m\u00eame, compatible Nespresso. En aluminium, elle pr\u00e9serve au mieux les ar\u00f4mes du caf\u00e9 et le prot\u00e8ge de la lumi\u00e8re et de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. Mais elle est tr\u00e8s critiqu\u00e9e par les consommateurs pour son impact \u00e9cologique, entre la multiplication des d\u00e9chets engendr\u00e9s et les cons\u00e9quences environnementales de l\u2019extraction du m\u00e9tal et de sa production. Des alternatives existent, bien qu\u2019aucune \u00e0 ce jour ne permette de pr\u00e9server le caf\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on aussi efficace que l\u2019aluminium. Mais, selon plusieurs acteurs proposant des versions en plastique v\u00e9g\u00e9tal, lorsque les capsules sont consomm\u00e9es sous quelques semaines, il n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment n\u00e9cessaire de les doter d\u2019une barri\u00e8re surpuissante. Capsules et opercules en bioplastique assurent un minimum de barri\u00e8re et d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9. Terramoka, marque fond\u00e9e en 2017 par Philippe Sauzay, utilise des capsules fabriqu\u00e9es en Europe dans un mat\u00e9riau 100% biosourc\u00e9. En amidon de ma\u00efs (sans OGM), la capsule se d\u00e9grade en 12 semaines dans des conditions de compost industriel. L\u2019opercule tr\u00e8s fin scellant les capsules est con\u00e7u dans le m\u00eame mat\u00e9riau. \u00abQuand la capsule est opercul\u00e9e \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature (87\u00b0C), sa d\u00e9gradation est activ\u00e9e et commence. Et elle se d\u00e9gradera dans tous les cas naturellement. Nos capsules garantissent une DLUO \u00e0 un an. Certes, le produit perd en saveur au bout de quelques mois, mais nous savons que la consommation du caf\u00e9 intervient rapidement apr\u00e8s la production des capsules\u00bb, remarque Philippe Sauzay.
