Although Japanese suppliers hold a dominant market share, in China, suppliers shipped 44,000 products, an increase in exports of 8% compared to 2019. \u00ab\u00a0The outlook for the robotics industry is optimistic. In China, where the coronavirus lockout came into effect for the first time, the robotics industry started to recover already in 2020. A total of 167,000 industrial robots have been shipped,\u00a0\u00bb comments Milton Guerry, President of the International Federation of Robotics.
