Sa d\u00e9gradation se fait aussi bien en conditions a\u00e9robies ou ana\u00e9robies, dans les sols et l\u2019eau. L\u2019investissement annonc\u00e9 est estim\u00e9 \u00e0 15 milliards de yen, soit environ 110 millions d\u2019euros. Objectif&nbsp;: passer actuellement des 5 000 tonnes de production annuelle \u00e0 une capacit\u00e9 totale de 20 000 tonnes par an. D\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 pour la production de pailles, couverts, capsules de caf\u00e9, sacs et films \u2013 repr\u00e9sentant \u00e0 elles seules plus de 5 millions de tonnes par an \u2013 Green Planet\u2122 \u00abpourrait remplacer \u00e0 terme environ 25 millions de tonnes de produits plastiques traditionnels \u00e0 usage unique par an dans le monde entier\u00bb, estime Kaneka. La livraison de l\u2019usine est programm\u00e9e en janvier 2024. Enfin, souhaitant se tourner vers une consommation de plus en plus locale, le groupe pr\u00e9voit d\u2019augmenter sa capacit\u00e9 de production de Green Planet\u2122 en Europe et en Am\u00e9rique, o\u00f9 la demande est \u00e9galement en hausse. <\/p>\n<p><em>Extrait de la revue n\u00b0 665 &#8211; F\u00e9vrier 2022.
