En effet, l\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le que la capacit\u00e9 totale de PET des nouveaux projets de construction et d\u2019expansion en Asie devrait atteindre 4,68 millions de tonnes par an (mtpa) d\u2019ici 2026. Les ajouts de capacit\u00e9 de PET sont soutenus par la demande croissante de polym\u00e8re pour l\u2019emballage dans les industries pharmaceutiques, alimentaires et des boissons. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abL\u2019Asie devrait ajouter une capacit\u00e9 de 4,63 mtpa gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cinq nouveaux projets de construction pr\u00e9vus et annonc\u00e9s, tandis que la capacit\u00e9 restante de 0,05 mtpa devrait provenir d\u2019un projet d\u2019expansion pr\u00e9vu\u00bb, explique Vinuthna Bidar, analyste du p\u00e9trole et du gaz chez GlobalData. La Chine et l\u2019Inde seront les principaux contributeurs aux augmentations de capacit\u00e9 de PET en Asie. Une part importante des ajouts de capacit\u00e9 en Chine proviendra du projet annonc\u00e9, Zhejiang Petrochemical Daishan Polyethylene Terephthalate Plant 2, qui devrait entrer en service d\u2019ici 2026 avec une capacit\u00e9 de 2 mtpa. Quant \u00e0 l\u2019usine de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne t\u00e9r\u00e9phtalate (PET) de<br>Henan Longyu Coal Chemical Luoyang, elle devrait repr\u00e9senter 0,4 mtpa aux ajouts de capacit\u00e9 de PET en Chine. Vinuthna conclut : \u00abl\u2019Inde conna\u00eetra une augmentation de capacit\u00e9 significative gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019usine de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne t\u00e9r\u00e9phtalate 2 de Reliance Industries Dahej, un projet annonc\u00e9 d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 1 mtpa. Le projet pr\u00e9vu, IndoRama Synthetics Nagpur Polyethylene Terephthalate Plant, constituera une capacit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaire de 0,23 mtpa aux capacit\u00e9s de PET dans le pays.
