Systech, part of Markem-Imaje and Dover, and a leader in digital traceability and serialization, announced that it has acquired Pharmacontrol Electronic (Mettler Toledo Group), a pharmaceutical track and trace solutions provider in Europe, with the aim to <\/strong>expand product offer and global footprint.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the heels of strong growth Systech experienced in 2023, this acquisition enhances Systech\u2019s product offerings and enables it to offer a more comprehensive product portfolio to its customers. PCE\u2019s track-and-trace solutions are deployed in hundreds of European pharmaceutical packaging lines, all of which will now benefit from Systech\u2019s category-leading innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, adding PCE expands Systech\u2019s customer support capabilities and ensures even higher service levels to a broader and more geographically diverse customer base. Systech will leverage PCE\u2019s existing team and operations in Oberlungwitz and Heppenheim, Germany, and base its new European headquarters out of Heppenheim. This acquisition represents a strategic step in Systech\u2019s global expansion and positions Systech to deliver even higher value to its European customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Systech\u2019s customers include 16 of the Top 20 pharmaceutical companies, as well as major global brands in medical devices, nutraceuticals, and personal care.
