Tout d\u2019abord, la publication en fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e 2023 par le Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Industrie de sa feuille de route de d\u00e9carbonation d\u00e9taillant les leviers \u00e0 mobiliser pour rendre possible cette trajectoire. Plus r\u00e9cemment, en avril 2024, avec la publication de son Plan de Transition Sectoriel (PTS) \u00e9labor\u00e9 avec l\u2019Ademe, au terme d\u2019un travail approfondi sur la base de deux sc\u00e9narios prospectifs. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces d\u00e9marches ont largement impliqu\u00e9 les entreprises verri\u00e8res qui ont collabor\u00e9 et \u00e9chang\u00e9 sur leurs recherches, leurs perspectives et leurs projets. Dans ces deux approches rigoureuses et valid\u00e9es par les experts des autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises, les objectifs de d\u00e9carbonation pour 2030 et 2050 passeront par deux leviers majeurs : l\u2019\u00e9lectrification et le recyclage.<br>En effet, la production du verre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans des fours aliment\u00e9s par du gaz naturel et de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est tr\u00e8s \u00e9nergivore. L\u2019industrie travaille donc activement pour diversifier son mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et s\u2019orienter au maximum vers l\u2019utilisation d\u2019\u00e9nergies d\u00e9carbon\u00e9es. L\u2019\u00e9lectrification des fours et des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s est donc la voie majeure de d\u00e9carbonation. Cette \u00e9volution verra apparaitre, en fonction des tailles de fours et des types de verre \u00e9labor\u00e9s, soit des fours 100% \u00e9lectriques, soit des fours hybrides \u00e9lectricit\u00e9\/gaz avec une proportion de 80% d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et 20% de gaz. En compl\u00e9ment de l\u2019\u00e9lectrification, le r\u00e9siduel de gaz naturel fossile sera progressivement remplac\u00e9 par des biogaz avec en particulier du biom\u00e9thane. En parall\u00e8le, ont \u00e9merg\u00e9 en Europe des projets de fours industriels hybrides (80% \u00e9lectrique et 20% gaz) de grande capacit\u00e9 (350 tonnes de verre par jour) et pouvant accepter un haut taux de calcin. Plusieurs investissements de fours hybrides ont \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9s en Europe (Allemagne, Espagne, France).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autre axe strat\u00e9gique pour la fili\u00e8re du verre\u00a0: am\u00e9liorer son taux de recyclage qui progresse r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, pour atteindre 77,9% en 2021 (Ademe) (88% pour les emballages m\u00e9nagers). Ce verre tri\u00e9 en vue du recyclage (le calcin) est devenu la principale mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re des verriers et repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s de 65 % des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res. L\u2019utilisation massive de calcin permet d\u2019\u00e9conomiser l\u2019\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire pour fondre le verre et de limiter l\u2019utilisation des ressources naturelles. Une tonne de verre recycl\u00e9 permet d\u2019\u00e9viter 500 kg d\u2019\u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub>. Un nouvel enjeu est la collecte et le recyclage du verre issu des d\u00e9chets du b\u00e2timent o\u00f9 le gisement de verre plat est estim\u00e9 \u00e0 200 000 tonnes avec \u00e0 ce jour un taux de collecte faible. La mise en place en 2023 de la REP PMCB (Responsabilit\u00e9 Elargie du Producteur \u2013 Produits et Mat\u00e9riaux de Construction du B\u00e2timent) doit permettre, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de collecte efficace et bien maill\u00e9 sur le territoire, de progresser rapidement.<br>Pour rappel, les \u00e9missions totales de la fili\u00e8re verre sont de 2,7 millions de tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub>, soit 3% des \u00e9missions industrielles de carbone en France et 0,6% des \u00e9missions totales fran\u00e7aises. 80% des \u00e9missions de la fili\u00e8re sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation d\u2019\u00e9nergies fossiles (principalement le gaz naturel) essentiellement utilis\u00e9es pour fondre le verre, et 20% sont des \u00e9missions dites de proc\u00e9d\u00e9, li\u00e9es \u00e0 la d\u00e9carbonatation des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res (principalement le carbonate de soude et le carbonate de chaux).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Industries du Verre vient de doublement valider sa strat\u00e9gie et sa feuille de route de d\u00e9carbonation.
