Cependant, aujourd\u2019hui, sa disponibilit\u00e9 limite son int\u00e9gration. Afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer cette disponibilit\u00e9, la collecte, le tri et le traitement des d\u00e9chets en verre doivent \u00eatre optimis\u00e9s. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abNotre strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de calcin repose sur deux axes. D\u2019une part, l\u2019augmentation significative du taux de recyclage, en d\u00e9veloppant les r\u00e9seaux de collecte \u2013 prioritairement sur les march\u00e9s les moins dot\u00e9s \u2013 et en sensibilisant les consommateurs \u00e0 la circularit\u00e9 du verre. D\u2019autre part, en optimisant la performance des centres de traitement, notamment via l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des technologies de tri des mati\u00e8res\u00bb, explique Romain Barral, directeur des op\u00e9rations du groupe Verallia. Pour ce faire, le verrier s\u2019engage dans des programmes de sensibilisation. Ainsi, le groupe est membre de la plateforme d\u2019action europ\u00e9enne \u00abClose the Glass Loop\u00bb, un partenariat public-priv\u00e9 collaboratif cr\u00e9\u00e9 par la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration europ\u00e9enne de l\u2019emballage en verre (FEVE), qui vise \u00e0 augmenter le taux de collecte du verre pour atteindre 90% d\u2019ici 2030. En parall\u00e8le, le verrier investit dans le d\u00e9veloppement du recyclage l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les infrastructures sont encore insuffisantes, comme en Am\u00e9rique du Sud par exemple. Parmi ces initiatives, l\u2019entreprise a lanc\u00e9 un programme d\u2019installation de bennes de collecte au Br\u00e9sil (900 bennes \u00e0 fin 2023) o\u00f9 le taux de collecte \u00e9tait de 25% en 2021. Verallia exploite aujourd\u2019hui 19 centres de traitement du calcin r\u00e9partis dans huit pays, dont 16 en Europe de l\u2019Ouest et trois au Chili, en Argentine et en Russie. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces installations, le groupe est en mesure de traiter pr\u00e8s de 50% de ses besoins en calcin pour alimenter ses fours. Face \u00e0 l\u2019urgence climatique, Verallia s\u2019engage pour d\u00e9carboner ses activit\u00e9s et vise une r\u00e9duction de 46% de ses \u00e9missions d\u2019ici 2030 par rapport \u00e0 2019.
