The joint venture, founded in 1997 as a 50:50 partnership between Bericap and Amcor in Burlington, Ontario, has grown to become a successful business with annual revenue of USD 200 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BCNA operates three production facilities located in the USA (Cowpens, South Carolina), Canada (Burlington) and Mexico (Mexico City) and offers the complete Bericap closures portfolio for the food, beverage and industrial markets. The acquisition of the shares in BCNA is the most significant investment in the company\u2019s almost 100-year history and demonstrates its strong commitment to the North American market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bericap is one of the leading global manufacturers of plastic and aluminum closures, with 30 production plants serving customers in over 100 countries across the world. With specialized R&amp;D centers and its own mold shop, the group is equipped for the development of innovative and climate-friendly closures and to support its customers\u2019 success with a comprehensive portfolio of products. The company\u2019s highest priorities are product safety, consumer convenience and design flexibility, as well as process safety and sustainability.
