Mais il fixe de nouvelles exigences aux industriels de l\u2019agro-alimentaire (IAA) dans le marquage et l\u2019int\u00e9gration logicielle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e9ritable \u00abaiguilleur\u00bb capable d\u2019amener l\u2019utilisateur \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux d\u2019information selon son profil (consommateur muni d\u2019un simple smartphone, h\u00f4te de caisse, magasinier, service qualit\u00e9\u2026, le QR Code augment\u00e9 GS1* (lire notre \u00e9ditorial de f\u00e9vrier dernier) ne fait que commencer \u00e0 cohabiter avec le code-barres sur certains emballages de la grande distribution. Mais les IAA doivent d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tape suivante, \u00e0 savoir le remplacement pur et simple du codage 1D : \u00abc\u2019est vraiment devenu \u00e9vident \u00e0 partir du moment o\u00f9 le patron du distributeur am\u00e9ricain Walmart, Doug McMillon en personne, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les caisses enregistreuses de ses magasins ne sauraient plus lire les codes-barres apr\u00e8s 2027, et que ses fournisseurs devraient par cons\u00e9quent imprimer \u00e0 la place des codes 2D augment\u00e9s\u00bb, rappelle Christophe Moulin, dirigeant de la filiale commerciale fran\u00e7aise de Markem-Imaje (groupe Dover).<br>Une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution car si la pr\u00e9sence de codes matriciels sur les emballages n\u2019est pas une nouveaut\u00e9 en soi, ces codes, lorsqu\u2019ils existaient, renvoyaient tous au m\u00eame contenu \u00abfroid\u00bb (informations sur le fabricant, composition, recettes\u2026) pour un produit donn\u00e9. \u00c9tant identiques, ils pouvaient sans inconv\u00e9nient \u00eatre imprim\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019avance, en dehors de la ligne de production, ce qui ne devrait en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pas \u00eatre le cas pour le QR code augment\u00e9 GS1. De fait, l\u2019objectif de ce marquage est \u00abd\u2019encapsuler\u00bb non seulement l\u2019identification du produit et les autres informations \u00abstatiques\u00bb, mais aussi toutes les donn\u00e9es variables (num\u00e9ro de lot, num\u00e9ro de s\u00e9rie, date de fabrication, DLC, etc.) qui \u00e9taient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent imprim\u00e9es en ligne, ind\u00e9pendamment du code-barres et de l\u2019\u00e9ventuel code 2D de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Et \u00e0 ces donn\u00e9es variables essentielles pourront m\u00eame \u00eatre ajout\u00e9es, selon les cas, certaines donn\u00e9es \u00abchaudes\u00bb relatives aux param\u00e8tres de production par exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Investissements logiciels et mat\u00e9riels<\/strong><br>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019av\u00e8nement du QR Code augment\u00e9 GS1 ouvre des perspectives tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes dans l\u2019alimentaire, ne serait-ce que dans l\u2019organisation des campagnes promotionnelles flash ou des rappels, avec en l\u2019occurrence une d\u00e9tection automatique des produits concern\u00e9s lors du passage en caisse\u00bb, met en avant Christophe Moulin. En contrepartie, poursuit-il, cette innovation va exiger des investissements non n\u00e9gligeables : \u00ab\u00e0 l\u2019instar de Carrefour qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 annonc\u00e9 qu\u2019il entamerait sa bascule courant 2025 avec quelques 2 000 r\u00e9f\u00e9rences MDD, les distributeurs vont progressivement s\u2019\u00e9quiper de caisses et de lecteurs capables de lire ces codes 2D. D\u00e8s lors, de fa\u00e7on m\u00e9canique, les IAA dans leur ensemble seront de plus en plus fortement incit\u00e9es \u00e0 les apposer sur leurs emballages\u00bb. En pratique, puisque le marquage de ces codes agr\u00e9ment\u00e9s de donn\u00e9es variables ne sera sans doute, d\u2019une fa\u00e7on g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, plus r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans les ateliers d\u2019impression traditionnels, il le sera sur les lignes de production.
