Pr\u00e8s d\u2019un sur deux (49%) tente d\u2019\u00e9viter le suremballage, m\u00eame si cela complique l\u2019acte d\u2019achat, et 22% disent ne choisir que des emballages recyclables ou r\u00e9utilisables. La durabilit\u00e9 (32%), le lieu de fabrication (33%) et la mati\u00e8re (31%) figurent d\u00e9sormais parmi les crit\u00e8res observ\u00e9s, juste derri\u00e8re les informations produit (42%) et la praticit\u00e9 (37%). En revanche, seuls 16% citent les mentions environnementales, signe d\u2019un scepticisme persistant : 83% des r\u00e9pondants jugent ces all\u00e9gations \u00abpas toujours cr\u00e9dibles\u00bb et 86% estiment difficile d\u2019identifier un emballage r\u00e9ellement respectueux de l\u2019environnement. Plus marquant encore : l\u2019emballage peut d\u00e9clencher ou bloquer l\u2019achat. 51% des Fran\u00e7ais ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 choisi un produit pour son emballage jug\u00e9 plus vertueux ; 34% y ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 renonc\u00e9 pour la raison inverse. Et 76% d\u00e9clarent \u00eatre trop souvent confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des emballages excessifs. La dynamique est particuli\u00e8rement forte chez les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations : 64% des 18-24 ans et 70% des 25-34 ans ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9 un produit en raison de son emballage vertueux. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des moins de 35 ans se disent pr\u00eats \u00e0 payer plus cher pour un emballage plus responsable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.emballagedigest.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ALLFORPACK2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emballagedigest.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ALLFORPACK2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.emballagedigest.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ALLFORPACK2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.emballagedigest.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ALLFORPACK2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.emballagedigest.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ALLFORPACK2-18x10.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le prix, premier frein\u2026 mais pas le seul<\/strong><br>Si la sensibilit\u00e9 progresse, l\u2019arbitrage budg\u00e9taire reste d\u00e9terminant. 88% des Fran\u00e7ais citent au moins un frein \u00e0 l\u2019achat d\u2019emballages plus durables. En t\u00eate : le prix (46%), loin devant les habitudes d\u2019achat (32%) et le manque de clart\u00e9 des informations (31%). Le doute sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 environnementale r\u00e9elle des emballages demeure minoritaire (20%), mais la d\u00e9fiance vis-\u00e0-vis des discours est forte. Seuls 60% disent faire confiance aux marques pour faire les bons choix. Pour autant, 37% des consommateurs envisagent de payer plus cher un produit mieux emball\u00e9 \u2013 une intention encore fragile (6% seulement s\u2019en disent \u00abcertains\u00bb), mais r\u00e9v\u00e9latrice d\u2019un consentement \u00e0 payer en construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le r\u00e9emploi comme horizon<\/strong><br>Interrog\u00e9s sur l\u2019avenir, 81% des Fran\u00e7ais anticipent des transformations majeures d\u2019ici dix ans. Ils citent en priorit\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement du r\u00e9emploi (40%), la r\u00e9duction des volumes (36%) et la limitation du plastique (39%). L\u2019emballage id\u00e9al ? D\u2019abord r\u00e9utilisable (41%), puis respectueux de l\u2019environnement (26%). L\u2019esth\u00e9tique ou la discr\u00e9tion passent d\u00e9sormais au second plan. Surtout, les consommateurs attendent une mobilisation des acteurs priv\u00e9s : 53% d\u00e9signent les entreprises \u2013 notamment les grandes \u2013 et 39% les distributeurs comme moteurs prioritaires de la transition. Les pouvoirs publics (24%) et les consommateurs eux-m\u00eames (21%) arrivent derri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une fili\u00e8re prise en \u00e9tau<\/strong><br>Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des professionnels, le barom\u00e8tre r\u00e9v\u00e8le un secteur toujours convaincu du r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 de l\u2019emballage \u2013 92% le jugent essentiel \u00e0 la commercialisation des produits de grande consommation \u2013 mais confront\u00e9 \u00e0 un environnement plus contraint. La recyclabilit\u00e9 reste la priorit\u00e9 num\u00e9ro un : 75% des r\u00e9pondants citent les emballages faciles \u00e0 recycler (contre 68% en 2024). L\u2019all\u00e8gement (52%) et l\u2019int\u00e9gration de mati\u00e8res recycl\u00e9es (50%) progressent \u00e9galement. C\u00f4t\u00e9 innovation, les alternatives au plastique dominent toujours (61%), devant les solutions fonctionnelles (40%). Mais l\u2019enthousiasme s\u2019\u00e9mousse : les attentes reculent l\u00e9g\u00e8rement et les critiques sur le manque d\u2019innovation se font plus audibles. Le plastique, lui, cristallise les paradoxes. Si 54% estiment que son usage devrait diminuer \u00e0 court terme, 21% anticipent au contraire une hausse li\u00e9e \u00e0 la demande. La transition vers des plastiques recycl\u00e9s ou biosourc\u00e9s (60%) reste la tendance la plus probable, suivie par la mont\u00e9e du r\u00e9emploi plastique (38%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La l\u00e9gislation, nouveau moteur<\/strong><br>Fait notable : la hi\u00e9rarchie des motivations \u00e9volue. En 2025, la l\u00e9gislation devient le premier moteur des choix \u00e9cologiques (55%), devant l\u2019impact environnemental propre de l\u2019entreprise (46%) et les attentes consommateurs (45%). Le secteur avance d\u00e9sormais sous contrainte r\u00e9glementaire plus que par seule dynamique de march\u00e9. Dans le m\u00eame temps, les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices d\u2019image (41%) progressent parmi les motivations strat\u00e9giques. Mais les freins persistent. Le co\u00fbt des mat\u00e9riaux demeure l\u2019obstacle principal (65%), loin devant la qualit\u00e9 (32%) ou les investissements requis (26%). \u00c0 cela s\u2019ajoute un durcissement du regard port\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9glementation : seuls 34% la jugent \u00abad\u00e9quate mais perfectible\u00bb (contre 44% en 2024), tandis que les critiques sur son caract\u00e8re inadapt\u00e9 ou irr\u00e9aliste progressent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vers une exigence de transparence<\/strong><br>Autre \u00e9volution majeure per\u00e7ue par les professionnels : les consommateurs r\u00e9clament d\u00e9sormais davantage de transparence (37%), devant le r\u00e9emploi (35%) et la r\u00e9duction du plastique (31%). Le d\u00e9bat se d\u00e9place d\u2019un rejet frontal vers une demande de preuves, d\u2019informations claires et de garanties tangibles. En filigrane, ce \u00abbulletin de sant\u00e9\u00bb 2025 confirme une \u00e9quation de plus en plus complexe : des consommateurs plus engag\u00e9s mais contraints, une fili\u00e8re volontaire mais sous pression \u00e9conomique et normative, et un cadre r\u00e9glementaire devenu d\u00e9terminant.
