HP and ePac Announce $50 Million Strategic Deal

publié le lundi 16 février 2026

HP, a global leader in digital printing technologies, and ePac, expert in digitally printed flexible packaging, announced the signing of a large-scale commercial agreement that deepens their long-standing strategic relationship. The total value of the engagement, including equipment, consumables, and service over three years, is estimated at $50 million.

The agreement was signed during a flagship visit of ePac’s executive team to Israel, marking a decade of strategic collaboration between the companies. This collaboration has driven a significant transformation in the global flexible packaging industry, accelerating the shift from traditional analog production to digital printing, enabling full agility for brands of all sizes, true on-demand manufacturing, and dramatically reducing lead times from weeks to just days. These capabilities minimize excess inventory and waste across the supply chain.

As part of the agreement, ePac, which currently operates a fleet of more than 50 HP Indigo presses, will install more than 10 HP Indigo 200K digital presses, expanding and bolstering their global HP Indigo fleet with these new Gen 5 presses.  The immediate value of the press purchase is approximately $20 million, with an expected additional $30 million in revenue from consumables and technical services over the next three years.

»This $50 million investment marks a pivotal moment in ePac’s evolution. By integrating more than 10 HP Indigo 200K digital presses into our global network, we are not just expanding capacity; we are redefining the standard for high-speed, sustainable packaging. Whether we are supporting a local startup or a global brand, our hyperfocus remains on delivering a universally superior customer experience. With our upcoming expansion in Phoenix and the launch of our new e-commerce platform, ePac is signaling a future of uninterrupted growth and digital-first innovation that our competitors simply cannot match,” said Parag Patel, President of Shared Services, ePac.

Based on HP Indigo’s new 5th-generation platform, the HP Indigo 200K delivers a major leap in productivity with roughly a 30% increase in print speed and up to 45% higher overall throughput compared to the previous generation. The presses incorporate advanced AI-enabled tools for automated print-quality diagnostics and real-time defect detection and correction. These capabilities support continuous, nonstop printing and significantly reduce waste, helping global brands lower their carbon footprint and meet rigorous sustainability goals.

The new presses will be installed across ePac’s global operations in North America and Europe. Once installation is complete, nearly one-third of ePac’s worldwide press fleet will be based on the innovative HP Indigo 200K platform. This strategic investment further empowers ePac to lead the evolution of the digital flexible packaging industry.
