UNITED STATES: First mono-material dispenser pump available

Rieke (TriMas Packaging) innovates with its unique patented Mono™-2e polymer pump, the first fully-recyclable on the market, facilitating end of life at the level of distributors in the sense of a circular economy, which was an expectation on the side of its customers in mass consumption and consumers.

The pump is composed of six pieces, all in one material. The complete homogeneity of the recycled polymer increases performance and quality, while expanding the possible high-quality applications of the following post-consumer resin molded products. This allows Rieke to incorporate up to 100% post-consumer resin, polypropylene or polyethylene into caps or capsules. This gives each pump the best chance of having a recycled second life. After proving its production and commercial robustness, as well as a first application with Love Beauty and Planet from Unilever, the Mono™-2e is ready for new applications in beauty and personal care.
