Stylish, functional, and environmentally friendly – these are the goals Greiner Packaging has set itself with its sustainable new food service packaging, the Mix & Match meal boxes. Specially developed to meet the requirements of hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses, the innovative takeout packaging is designed to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers.

With the planned revision of the PPWR packaging regulation, the EU is also aiming for a 10% quota of reusable packaging in the takeout business of catering establishments by 2030.

With the innovative Mix & Match meal boxes, Greiner Packaging has addressed the needs of the industry and consumers and developed packaging that combines design with functionality and sustainability. Features such as resealing, RFID tracking, and optimum washability make the boxes a practical solution for the daily needs of hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.

The meal boxes are robust, stackable, and made of high-quality polypropylene (PP). PP is known for its durability, sustainability, and ease of cleaning. With a variety of colors and sizes, the boxes offer many different combination options, making them visually appealing.

Whether it’s a small snack or a large lunch portion, the meal boxes are available in 400 ml, 700 ml, 1,000 ml, and 1,250 ml, offering the perfect size for any dish. As Gastronorm containers in size GN 1/6, they seamlessly integrate into standardized kitchen systems, enabling efficient use in any food service operation. The meal boxes are available in a wide range of colors to emphasize the personal style of the respective catering establishment. The lids are available in color or transparent.

The boxes can be sealed repeatedly – ideal for salads and soups, but also perfect for burgers and wraps. Sealing with foil can be done as often as needed without any loss in quality, even with frequent use. Additionally, the box can be equipped with ventilation holes to ensure optimal freshness for crispy dishes.

Embossing gives the meal boxes a unique touch. High-quality IML labels or printing are also possible, making them perfect for logos, designs, markings, or informative imprints.
