Grease-resistant paper for self-adhesive labels

Sappi Europe has launched Parade Face Edge, an 80g/m² semi-gloss coated paper designed for self-adhesive labels exposed to oils and grease.

Its key feature is the combination of a surface coating with grease resistance integrated into the fibre base, preventing penetration through cut edges while preserving label appearance and legibility. Made without intentionally added PFAS, halogen-based polymers or waxes, the paper is suitable for food (oils, sauces, dairy products), cosmetics (creams, lotions) and industrial applications (lubricants). Suitable for food contact, it is compatible with flexo, gravure and offset printing, as well as high-speed converting lines.
