Digital finishing systems to improve performance

In February, NEC Birmingham was the occasion for Highcon Systems to unveil its digital finishing systems, for cutting, creasing and decorticating paper, solid board and corrugated, in a unique automatic process.

Highcon Beam and Highcon Euclid solutions thus advance packaging sustainability measures, by eliminating conventional matrices, and by allowing material savings, to lighten corrugated cardboard, to replace plastic and to facilitate recycling thanks to mono-material. The Highcon Beam 2 digital die-cutting and creasing system extends the digital finishing revolution to folding cartons. The Beam 2C brings these benefits to corrugated with a standard pallet infeed configuration or a scalable infeed, stacking and on-site waste disposal configuration.
